M3 Retreatment Rotary File is a specialized product in the field of endodontics (root canal therapy) designed for retreatment of root canals. These rotary files are specifically created for removing old filling materials (gutta-percha, sealers, or any other substance) from the root canal during retreatment. Below is a general overview of this product:

Features and Benefits:

Nickel-Titanium (NiTi) Structure:
M3 Retreatment Rotary Files are made from a nickel-titanium alloy, which enhances their flexibility and resistance to breakage. This feature allows dentists to perform retreatment with greater confidence and ease.

Multi-Stage Design:
These files are typically used in three stages to remove filling materials:

  • Stage One: Files with a thinner tip for initial access to the canal and starting the cleaning process.
  • Stage Two: Files with a larger diameter to remove more of the filling material.
  • Stage Three: Files with the largest tip for final cleaning and preparing the canal for refilling.

Increased Speed and Precision:
The special design of these files increases the speed and precision of retreatment procedures. Dentists can remove previous filling materials with controlled and efficient rotary movements, minimizing the risk of damage to the tooth's natural structure.

Resistance to Cyclic Fatigue:
M3 Retreatment Rotary Files are engineered using advanced techniques that increase their resistance to cyclic fatigue, meaning they can work for longer periods without breaking or deforming.

High Safety and Efficiency:
These files reduce the risk of file separation or jamming inside the canal, enhancing treatment safety and giving patients more confidence in the quality of care they receive.

Usage Instructions:

  1. First, examine the root canal using hand files and open the initial pathway.
  2. Then, use the M3 Retreatment Rotary Files to carefully and precisely remove the old filling materials.
  3. At every stage, clean both the files and the canal to prevent any potential damage to the tooth.

General Benefits:

  • Due to their high flexibility and durability, these files are recognized as an efficient and reliable tool for retreatment procedures.
  • They allow dentists to clean and prepare canals more quickly and accurately.

Pricing and Availability:

M3 Retreatment Files are usually available at competitive prices and, thanks to their high manufacturing quality, offer a cost-effective solution. You can purchase the best retreatment files at competitive prices from the Gol Teb Alborz website.

Procedure for Using Retreatment Files:

  1. After reviewing the canal anatomy with a good X-ray, visualize the assumed pathway through the canal.
  2. Use a stainless steel hand file to create a guide hole in the coronal section of the filled material.
  3. Gently use the D1 file to clear the material in the coronal third of the canal. Ensure sufficient use of gutta-percha solvent.
    • Note: Only the D1 file has an active cutting tip in the retreatment series.
  4. Use the D2 file for the middle third, followed by the D3 file to remove the material from the apical third of the canal.
  5. In cases of complex canal anatomy, a hand file may be required to assist the D3 file.
  6. Regularly check the file flutes for filling material and continue filing until the canal is thoroughly cleaned.
  7. Finally, complete your endodontic treatment with regular endodontic files.
