1- D1 with cutting tip and size 30 and length 16 mm for 1/3 of the coronal canal
2- D2 size 25 with a length of 18 mm for the medical 1/3 of the canal
3- D3 size 20 with a length of 22 mm for the apical 1/3 of the canal
How to work with M3- Retreatment files:
1- After examining the anatomy of the canal with a good radiograph, consider the hypothetical path of passing through the canal.
2- Create a guide hole in the coronal part of the filled material with a steel manual file.
3- Gently use the D1 file to empty the material in the coronal 1/3 of the canal.Use a sufficient amount of gutta solvent. * It should be noted that in the retreatment files, only D1 has an active tip.
4- Use the D2 file for the medial 1/3 and then the D3 file to remove the apical 1/3 of the previously filled material of the canal.
5- In cases of dealing with complex canal anatomy, it is sometimes necessary to use a manual file to help the D3 file.
6- The flutes of the files should be checked regularly and if filling materials are seen in them, both the flutes should be cleaned and the filing should be continued to clean the channel as much as possible.
7- Finally, complete you endo with the endo files.
